I’ve accidentally deleted my post which I wrote about the place that I took my classmate, Dawn to. Well, I’ve to retype everything again as I won’t be able to redo or undo.
Well, when Dawn & her hubby came back from states, they wanted to visit some temples. Wow! You wouldn’t believe, we visited 5 temples in half a day. The first temple was Guan
Yin Temple (Goddess of Mercy) at Jalan Gopeng, Ipoh. You can see a lots of Guan Yin
Statues in this temple. Besides that,
there is also a fish releasing pond where after prayers, the fish will be released.
Next to it is a lost temple where 30 years ago, after heavy down pour, the mining area had a land slide and covered the whole temple. During extension, the committee only realized there is another hidden temple. In order not to destroy the historical temple, only limited machine is being used. Majority is dug by hands/man power. Take a look at the picture after the renovation/remodelling.
